Ok. To start, I have been getting a lot of questions asking why all of my pages have a black background. People ask if I am emo or goth. There is actually a very simple reason behind the black theme. Research has found that pages displayed with a black background use approximately 30% less power to display than pages with a white background. I use a laptop as my only computer, so I am a major supporter of anything that can save me a bit of power. It isn't that I am goth or emo, I just want to get the most out of my battery, and for the people with desktops, save them a very VERY small amount on the power bill.
Well, the site is just now getting underway, but just as a welcoming thing, I will begin by introducing myself. My name is Brandon. I am currently a college student in Illinois. I am going to apologize already, because I know I will slack off on this site. Sorry, but school is more important than this site.
Ok, a little bit of history about me. I was born on September 3, 1988. I have a family consisting of my mom, dad, and my dog that I wouldnt get rid of for the world, Wayne. When I was in about my sophomore year of high school, I became VERY interested in R/C cars. I was also interested in cars in general. I have The Fast and the Furious to thank for that. Though I like the first two movies, I felt that the third one was an abomination to drift racing. I am also not a ricer by any means. Although I want a Nissan 240SX, I dont want to put an 8 foot high wing on it and try to fly with the birds. I would rather start it off with a Right Hand Drive(RHD) conversion, and then put in the nice little SR20DET motor. I would probably end up running a 3 inch exhuast, but not just to put a fart cannon on there. I would want the large piping so the exhaust gases could get out more efficiently, leading to better performance. I actually don't want a cannon on my car. I don't really think anything sounds worse that when some moron in a Honda Civic gies you a ricer fly-by and sounds like he is driving my weed whacker down the highway.
Another thing about me, I LOVE Monster energy drinks. I know some people think they are nasty, but I think they taste kinda like candy.
